2-Butoxyethanol ether, an organic compound, is a colorless transparent liquid, يذوب في الماء, acetone, البنزين, الأثير, methanol, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents and mineral oil, mainly used as paint, especially nitro spray paint, quick-drying paint, varnish, enamel and paint striper with high boiling point solvent. Also used as adhesive non-active diluent, metal detergent, paint remover, fiber wetting agent, pesticide dispersant, drug extractant, resin plasticizer.

1. Coatings and inks: 2-Butoxyethanol ether is a commonly used solvent, widely used in coatings and inks. It is able to dissolve resins, pigments and other additives, providing good solubility and fluidity, and also contributes to the adhesion and drying speed of the coating.
