Trimethyl orthoacetate, also known as 1,1, 1-trimethoxy-ethane, е органично съединение, безцветна прозрачна течност, неразтворим във вода, and can be miscible with ethanol, етер, toluene, ethyl acetate, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, mainly used as an important intermediate for the synthesis of methyl dichlorothrin.
