Trimethyl orthoacetate, also known as 1,1, 1-trimethoxy-ethane, είναι μια οργανική ένωση, άχρωμο διαφανές υγρό, insoluble in water, and can be miscible with ethanol, αιθέρας, toluene, οξεικός αιθυλεστέρας, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, mainly used as an important intermediate for the synthesis of methyl dichlorothrin.
