DBU caprylate salt is a kind of organic base salt. DBU (1, 8-diazabiciclo [5.4.0]undec-7-ene) is a strong base, commonly used as a base catalyst in organic synthesis reactions. Isooctanoic acid is a commonly used organic acid, which can react with DBU to form DBU isooctanoate. DBU caprylate salt is widely used in ester dehydration catalyst, condensation catalyst and acid catalyzed reaction.
