Heptane

Heptane is a kind of organic compound, colorless transparent volatile liquid, insolubile in acqua, solubile in etanolo, carbon tetrachloride, miscible soluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, benzene, mainly used as a standard substance for octane number determination, solvent, can also be used for organic synthesis and the preparation of experimental reagents.

Applicazione

1. Solvente: n-heptane is a non-polar solvent with good solubility and fluidity. Può sciogliere molte sostanze organiche, come gli oli, resine, adhesives, rubbers and certain chemicals.
