Cyclohexane is an organic compound, the chemical formula is C6H12, colorless and pungent liquid, insolubil în apă, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, acetone and other organic solvents. Volatile and highly combustible, vapor and air form an explosive mixture, the explosion limit of 1.3 ~ 8.4% (volume). In case of open fire and high heat, it is easy to burn and explode. Aplicație

1. Solvent: cyclohexane is a non-polar solvent with low relative polarity. It can dissolve many organic substances, such as oils, rășini, rubbers, waxes and certain chemicals. For this reason, cyclohexane is often used as a solvent in paints, inks, adezivi, candles, cosmetice, and cleaning agents.
