Methanol, also known as hydroxyl methane, është një përbërje organike, is the simplest structure of saturated mono alcohol, its structure is simple CH3OH, can highlight the hydroxyl group of methanol. Aplikacion

1. Chemical industry: MeOH is an important raw material for the synthesis of other chemicals. It can be used to prepare organic compounds such as formaldehyde, esters, ethylene and propylene. These compounds are widely used in medicine, kozmetike, plastikës, coatings and chemicals.

2. Energy industry: Methanol can be used as an alternative to petroleum fuels. It can be used as a liquid fuel for combustion to generate electricity, heat and run cars.
