The main uses of phenolphthalein are
- Pharmaceutical raw materials in the pharmaceutical industry: Pharmaceutical laxatives, which can stimulate the intestinal wall, cause intestinal peristalsis and promote defecation. It is suitable for habitual and stubborn constipation and is available in various dosage forms such as tablets and suppositories.
