Phosphorus chloride is an inorganic compound, colorless transparent liquid, mainly used in the production of medicine, synthetic dyes and plastics. It is used to produce diphenyl-iso-octyl phosphate, triethyl phosphate and other phosphate esters, plastic plasticizers, organophosphorus pesticides, long-acting sulfonamide drugs and so on. It can also be used as dye intermediates, chlorination agents, catalysts and flame retardants for organic synthesis.
