Application

1. Solvent: isobutylbenzene has good solubility and can be used as an organic solvent for coatings, inks, adhesives and other industries. It can help dissolve or disperse other compounds in the solvent, improving the viscosity and adhesion of the paint.

2. Chemical intermediates: chemical isobutylbenzene can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. It can synthesize other organic compounds by substitution reaction, alkylation reaction, etc., such as some aromatic compounds, rubber purification agents, etc.

3. Fragrances and flavors: Due to the unique aroma of isobutadiene, it is often used in the manufacture of perfume, soap, shampoo, air fresheners and other fragrance products to give it a specific fragrance.

4. Polymer additives: isobutylbenzene can be used as a polymer additive. It can improve the properties of the polymer, such as enhancing the flexibility and heat resistance of the polymer, thus expanding the use of the polymer in different applications.
