Di-tert-butyl peroxide, also known as di-tert-butyl peroxide, is an organic compound, chemical formula C8H18O2, colorless liquid, can be miscible with benzene, petroleum ether and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, mainly used as synthetic resin initiator, photopolymerization sensitizer, rubber vulcanization agent, diesel ignition accelerator, but also used in organic synthesis.
