Main uses

Isopropyl alcohol has a wide range of applications as an organic raw material and solvent, being used in medicine, pesticides, intermediates, coatings, inks, etc. In the electronics industry, it can be used as a cleaning and degreasing agent. In the oil industry, cottonseed oil is an extractant and can also be used for degreasing animal-derived tissue membranes.

Marking, packaging, transportation and storage

The packaging containers of industrial isopropyl alcohol should have a firm mark, which includes the product name, the name of the manufacturer, the factory address, the trademark, the production date or production batch number, the product grade, the net content, the number of this standard and the “Flammable Liquid” mark that complies with the provisions of GB 190-2009.

When industrial isopropyl alcohol is packaged in steel drums that meet the requirements of GB/T 325, the net weight content of each drum is 160kg. Or package as per the user’s requirements.

Industrial isopropyl alcohol should be protected from direct sunlight and collision during loading, unloading and transportation. When filling, pay attention to the flow rate (not exceeding 3m/s) and have a grounding device.

Industrial isopropyl alcohol should be stored in a cool, dry, clean and well-ventilated warehouse. Do not stack exposed to the sky or place near fire sources, heat sources or oxidants
