Product Detail

Colorless, transparent and easy to flow liquid, with pungent odor, smoke in moist air. The boiling point is 118-120 ℃(0.1Mpa), the density is 1.6329(20/4℃), and the refractive index is nD1.4700. It is strongly irritating and corrosive, can burn the skin, stimulate mucous membranes, and corrode metals. Insoluble in water, but violently decomposed in hot water to produce trichloroacetic acid and hydrogen chloride; Soluble in most organic solvents, but decomposed by lower alcohols.

Application
